TO SELL CATTLE AS RAINY RIVER RAISED PROTOCOL CATTLE REQUIRES WHOLE HERD ENROLLMENT
CALVES (1st Shots in Spring)
*8-way Clostridial (boostered)
*MLV Viral Respiratory Pathogens including H.somnus (boostered)
*THIS CAN BE DONE ANYTIME THROUGH THE SEASON PROVIDED IT IS COMPLETED AT MINIMUM 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE SALE OF YOUR CHOICE*
COWS & BULLS (Annually after receiving Booster series first year - Prebreeding for the first year is recommended)

PURCHASED CALVES—
If they were not a part of the
Vaccination Protocol OR if you are not aware of their prior
vaccines, they need to be treated as listed above!
Replacement Heifers should be included in the Annual Cow Herd Vaccine regimen.
Contact your Local Veterinarian for proper products, dosage, administration & boostering times.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Castration must be done a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the sale.
Dehorning must be done a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the sale.
(A FEE will be charged if done incorrectly.)
Cattle will be identified with the RAINY RIVER RAISED ear tags.
SUGGESTION ONLY: Steer calves may have the dangle tag in left ear and heifers in the right ear. (This is very nice for sorting cattle.)
Cattle must be Age Verified, and a copy of the birth certificates be brought to the Sales Barn.
Cattle should be registered with the Sales Barn Manager a minimum of 2 weeks prior to a sale and can be a part of a pre-sort sale if desired or other similar style of cattle present.
Receipts of vaccines must be submitted at Sale Time. This includes proof that the cow herd was vaccinated as listed above. Please include the dates the vaccine was administered. There is a waiver to be completed at the Sales Barn.
